Last week Ciel were invited to participate in The Savoy Press Preview to show Summer 2011 collection,as part of the opening weeks of the Savoy re-launch, closed for 3 years, the Savoy,has just had a deep green energy make-over in amazing style, Mathilda from the Ecologist has written a great piece about it here: http://tinyurl.com/2wjfaym
Its still as splendid as ever, fantastic Art Deco and Edwardian blend of English style and very good tea and cake!The American bar is untouched with great cocktail's.I particularly loved the images of Josephine Baker and a Leopard! parked up outside the Hotel, as seen in photos just outside the bar, [see below].Courtney and me having tea!

Looking forward to this next 2 weeks when we will have our first ever “Pop Up Shop" at the bottom of the gardens of Marlborough house we will have a cute little pixie pod where we will be showing our knickers! as well as the gorgeous knitwear for this Autumn Winter Collection.

Ciel Cheeky Corner Site at Vintage at Goodwood August 14th-15th
This weekend, Ciel will be at the first ever Vintage at Goodwood Festival and we couldn’t be more excited! We will have a cheeky little stall on Eclectic Avenue selling our up-cycled Liberty Print Fabric Pants and some special Vintage Scarves from our Archives! I am especially proud as my godmother Joyce Badrockes work as the in house textile designer at Horrocks's will also be showing on the Saturday afternoon fashion show!
Created by Wayne & Geradine Hemingway MBE and Lord March, Vintage promises to be a unique music and cultural event, bringing together and celebrating 5 decades of British cool – all held in the glorious surroundings of the Goodwood estate. Music, Fashion, Film, Art & Design.

I found this inspiring work by pushak: moss your city
a whole art exhibit with moss architectural walls
makes me want to linger and lounge up against them..
Norwegian architectural firm pushak (camilla langeland, sissil morseth gromholt, marthe melbye,
and gyda drage kleiva) has designed an installation featuring an indoor moss landscape for
the architecture foundation in london, england. 'moss your city' is a part of AF's exchange
program for young and emerging architects in norway and the UK. the aim of the project
was to encourage foresting initiatives in urban settings by creating a space using natural

Summer Livin..
Summer lovin road trips to the seaside.. this recent

to create a summer wishin list of favourite things to do to
make the summer special... todays certainly did that with breakfast
on the beach before it was busy for the weekend drifty & dreamy

Ciel are looking for fashion savvy graduate interns to help with the next collection which launches for London & Paris Fashion Week. The lucky winners will get to work on the latest Ciel collections and have the opportunity to work with award winning designers Ciel, whose collections have been shown in London, Paris, Tokyo Fashion Weeks and whose clothes frequently grace the pages of Vogue, Elle, Dazed, i-D and Marie Claire. Recently featured in LIFE magazine USA and on show at the FIT Museum in NYC and at Alta Moda in Rome this month.
